Heritage Makers Box Opening - Primary Paper

As I have mentioned in my "About Me" page, I am a new Our Memories for Life/Heritage Makers distributor. Heritage Makers primarily provides online album making solutions, but now with the addition of Rhonda Anderson, founder of Creative Memories, they have created Our Memories for Life and are tackling supplies for paper crafters.

Years ago, I was a Creative Memories (CM) consultant. What I loved about CM was the quality of the products. After using products bought at the craft store and having them rip immediately or being just substandard quality, I was converted. For years, I have primarily used their products. I haven't been a consultant for a while, but have stayed with CM products. With all the changes to the CM company in the past year, many of us paper crafters have been forced to find other options. I once again was shopping in the craft stores. I found some products I loved,  but there were others I just didn't love. I was excited to see what Our Memories for Life had in store, and when they had a special promotion to become a distributor for $10 for 30% off your purchases, I signed up. Don't worry, I won't just be highlighting Our Memories for Life products here, but will include many other fabulous products you can find from stores or online.

Being new to Our Memories for Life, I wanted to try out their paper. I was excited to see their Primary paper pack and because I have a toddler, decided that the paper would be my first order. When it arrived, for some reason, my box looked like it was sat on...

I only ordered some paper, so I knew nothing was squished, but it was nice to see the paper on top protecting my products.

The paper survived shipping!
Let's open the paper pack & borders, shall we?

Fun Father's Day Card

I absolutely fell in love with this mini card from The Joyful Daisy. I thought it would be the perfect gift for my Grandfather for Father's Day. He lives far from us, and I usually send him a digital album. It's not quite done, so this was perfect to ensure he knew we were thinking of him.

The tri-fold insert was perfect for sending a few pictures.

I even made a coordinating envelope, and with the We 'R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board, it could not have been easier! I just added a Mickey sticker to the envelope wrap and addressed it.

I followed the mini-card instructions and made a 4.5"x 4" card. To fit the card I had to make a 5"x 5" envelope. Square cards take additional postage. If I were to make this card again, I would make it a rectangle size of 6"x 4" so I could use standard postage rates. If you are not mailing the card, the mini size is absolutely fun & adorable.
